Grace Lyne, Director at Christopher Peters, has raised more than £7,300 for the British Heart Foundation after successfully completing the London Marathon in memory of her late father, Mark Grineaux, who sadly died from a sudden cardiac arrest in August 2020.

On Sunday 3rd October, Grace took on the 26-mile challenge with her brother George. Between them, through the kind sponsorship from friends, family, clients and suppliers – including a fabulous luxury raffle with generously donated gifts – Grace and George have raised this astounding amount.
“It feels like such an accomplishment to have completed the London Marathon, just two years after losing my dad,” said Grace. “I pledged to run the entire distance without stopping or walking and I did just that, in 5 hours and 13 minutes. The whole experience was incredible, from the crowds and atmosphere to the support from runners patting me on the back and telling me my dad would be proud. It’s something I will never forget!”
Grace and George will continue to campaign for the worthy cause in memory of their dad, who was a real pillar of the community. Their goal is to raise £10,000 before the end of the year.
